Our Christian faith-based professional counseling practice is growing, and we are looking to hire a Christian Counselor and/or Therapist (PsyD, LMFT, LCSW, LMHC). Christian Counselor / Therapist Role
Applicants will have a Masters or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family therapy and must be licensed in the states of Florida or Utah or in the process of applying for licensure. Registered Interns will not be considered for this position. Candidates with EMDR, ART, Gottman, SYMBIS, and brainspotting training and/or certifications will be given priority in hiring.
This is intended to be a 1099 position, as the therapist will need to provide their own technology and internet, but the therapist has the opportunity to set their own schedule along with their own ideal client population. There is possibility for full-time W2 employment in the future, but a part-time hourly W2 position could be considered at this time for benefits and tax payment purposes if the therapist desires.
At Amber Privett Counseling, LLC, we value flexibility for our team members and know that’s crucial to long-lasting, fruitful employment in this difficult field. This can be a remote position, but there is an opportunity for Tampa Bay locals to have access to office space on a rotating basis. Opportunities for case consultation and staff activities will be provided to contribute to a positive work environment that supports a therapists’ professional development. Administrative, marketing, and billing support are provided. Rates will differ for hourly pay vs. 1099 contractor pay and are available to be discussed in the interview process.
